About Olney Rise Hybrid Homeschool Co-op
Olney Rise Hybrid Homeschool Co-op offers accredited academic classes in person and virtually. We provide hands-on, project-based learning opportunities for K-12th grade students. Our program also includes activities that offer opportunities to socialize and develop essential skills. We offer flexible 2/3/4 day schedule pricing structures to accommodate various homeschooling needs. Additionally, we provide homeschool curriculum and a state-approved homeschool umbrella program.

Membership Guidelines & Policies

Before registering for Olney Rise Hybrid Homeschool Co-op, please carefully consider the commitment you're making. Our focus is to support and enrich the homeschooling experience for families in our group. It takes the dedication of every member to make this possible. Please read these guidelines thoroughly before requesting membership.
Membership Requirements and Guidelines

Olney Rise is open to families actively engaged in homeschooling, with at least one child in grades K-12, who comply with state homeschooling laws. Homeschooling includes any schooling that occurs in the home environment.

A non-refundable registration fee per family is due at the time of registration. Membership must be renewed annually, with a discounted fee for returning families.

Additional fees may include facility costs, field trips, special events, or class-specific expenses for materials or textbooks. These fees are due as specified for each activity or class.

Parents are encouraged to volunteer their time and skills to support the co-op. While we aim to assign roles based on your preferences, we may need to assign tasks based on the co-op's needs. All volunteers will need to undergo a background check.

We ask that members participate in co-op events, field trips, and social gatherings when possible. Your involvement enriches the community experience for all families.

If you know you'll be absent on co-op days, please notify the Director in advance. We understand that unexpected circumstances arise, but we appreciate advance notice when possible.

Parents will be contacted if disciplinary issues arise with their children. We have a step-by-step process for addressing behavioral concerns, with the goal of finding positive solutions.

We strive to maintain a positive, supportive environment. Members are asked to communicate in ways that promote unity and encouragement among Olney Rise participants.

Primary communication will be via email and our private online group. Please check these regularly for updates and information.

We ask all adults to be vigilant about safety, keeping an eye out for any potentially dangerous behavior or misuse of property.

All parents are responsible for ensuring their children understand and follow the Student Responsibility and Expectations Policy.

Olney Rise reserves the right to terminate membership when deemed necessary by the administrative team.

Show respect to all teachers, parents, other students, and staff, as well as the facilities we use.

Be willing to accept guidance and correction from adults in charge of classes and activities.

Remain within designated areas of the premises.

Use appropriate language and behavior at all times.

No bullying, rough-housing, or disrespect of property will be tolerated.

Participate in classes actively and cheerfully. Arrive on time and complete assignments.

Personal electronic devices are not allowed during class unless permitted by the teacher.

Food and drinks are restricted to designated areas.

No pets (except service animals) are permitted.

Skateboards, roller skates/blades, and bikes are not allowed on the premises.

No weapons of any kind, real or fake, or illegal substances are permitted.

Students must stay in their assigned areas and not wander unsupervised.
Attendance and Illness Policies
We have specific guidelines for attendance and illness to ensure a smooth-running, healthy environment. These include policies on tardiness, absences, and when to stay home due to illness.
Conflict Resolution
We encourage open, respectful communication to resolve any conflicts or misunderstandings that may arise. If issues persist, our administrative team is available to mediate and find solutions.
Dress Code, Multimedia, and Field Trip Policies
We have guidelines for appropriate dress, use of photos/videos, and behavior during field trips and special events. These policies ensure a positive representation of our co-op and respect for all participants.
